Slate is the strongest hydrocolloid made, with firm viscosity and opaque coloring. At 110ºF, Temper 5 min. for Fixed and 3 min. for Removable procedures. In the mouth, cool for 5 min. with 72ºF tap water. Store for 4 days after boiling.
